We’re a family-run roofing business founded in 2001 by me and my brother. After completing our NVQ Level 2 in Slating and Tiling, I spent time with the National Trust apprenticing under a leadwork expert named Harry. Our first major project was The Grange in Ramsgate, home of Augustus Pugin—After seeing my work, he trusted me to finish it by myself—an experience that cemented my love for leadwork and the trade as a whole.
We later joined Swift Roofing in Maidstone, working alongside a wide range of skilled roofers and lead specialists. Their diverse techniques and knowledge helped shape us into the roofers we are today.
We specialise in heritage roofing—slating and leadwork on Victorian and Georgian properties—though we still enjoy smaller projects too. We undertake all other types of roofing and are certified in Single Ply Membrane and GRP systems.
Our reputation is built on word-of-mouth and we’re proud to be considered among the best in the area. This website lets us showcase the quality of our work, especially the projects we’re passionate about. We’ve chosen to stay small to maintain the highest standards; we use only the best quality materials, for us it’s about the longevity of the roof and doing what’s right for our customers especially as we’ve seen many poorly executed roofs from larger firms because they use cheaper materials to save a little extra money.
